Starting something new at 55 feels like stepping into uncharted territory. I’m excited and nervous all at the same time as I launch my Body Butter & More business. It’s a fresh chapter in my life, one filled with hope and a bit of uncertainty. Balancing this new venture with my already busy schedule is a challenge, but I believe it’s worth it if it brings something good to me and you!

Embracing a New Chapter
At 55, many people think about slowing down or settling into routines. For me, this chapter is about growth and creativity. Making body butter is not just about crafting a product; it’s about creating something that nourishes the skin and lifts the spirit. I want to share that feeling with others who appreciate natural, handmade skin care.
Starting this business means learning new skills, managing time carefully, and stepping outside my comfort zone. It’s a bit scary, but it’s also thrilling to think about the possibilities. I’m reminded that age is just a number, and it’s never too late to follow a passion.
Balancing Busy Days
Life is already full with family, friends, and daily responsibilities. Adding a business to the mix means I have to be organized and realistic about what I can handle. I’ve started setting small goals, like perfecting one recipe a week or creating a simple marketing plan. These steps keep me moving forward without feeling overwhelmed.

Why This Matters
This business is more than a project; it’s a way to contribute something positive. If my products bring comfort and joy to others, then the time and energy I invest are meaningful. It’s about productivity that feels good, not just busywork.
I believe many women in their 50s can relate to this feeling of wanting to try something new while managing a full life. It’s a reminder that we can keep growing, learning, and sharing our gifts at any age.
Looking Ahead
I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. There will be challenges, but also moments of satisfaction. If you’re thinking about starting something new, especially later in life, remember that it’s okay to feel nervous. That feeling means you're introspective but alive!
This chapter is mine to write, and I’m ready to make it a good one. If you want to follow along, I’ll be sharing updates, tips and more about life on this side. Here’s to new beginnings that bring joy and purpose for however long this chapter lasts.
