I began making body butter as a side business nearly 12 years ago to help make ends meet and to dabble in a new hobby. After a while, I stopped selling it and continued making it just for myself and a few others due to low vendor events, etc,. Fast forward to menopause, when I realized I needed to make better choices for my health—especially when it came to eating, skincare, and haircare. What once started as casual experimenting quickly became a serious quest.
I found myself solving skin concerns not only for myself, but for others as well—issues like dry feet, stretch marks, rough patches, chest acne, crepey skin, and other signs of aging. After creating and using products designed for specific needs, my skin was restored to pre menopause —even better than before. What truly clinched my decision to restart the business on a larger scale was a dermatologist asking me, “What do YOU use on your skin?”—along with my husband, who after 30 years still tells me how soft my skin is and how much he loves it.
And so, Lucie Co was born as a self-care and pampering line created to extend self-love from the inside out, for beautiful, soft skin at every stage of life. Our mission is to provide high-quality, natural skincare products that help you look and feel feminine while exuding an inner and outer glow. We are dedicated to offering skin-loving products designed to indulge, rejuvenate, and soften your skin—giving it the care it truly deserves. God has truly blessed me, and I'm happy and excited to share the insight and understanding with you as I've been given.

Our Name
Lucie Co’s name is very special to me. My mother has always been an inspiration, so it was important that she be apart of this business in some way. She was an entrepreneur and a hat milliner for many years, often working from home making hats, purses, and fancy handkerchiefs. When I graduated from high school, she opened a boutique selling those items and much more. It was "thee" hat shop in the city all the church ladies went to for the perfect head fashion to compliment their Sunday or special event attire with style and flair.
I also hope my daughter is inspired to follow her dreams through whatever work or business she chooses to pursue. With that in mind, Lucie Co is a combination of our three names: Lu, from the beginning of my mother’s name (“Lula”); cie, from the ending of my name (“Tracie”); and it’s also the sweet nickname I’ve called my daughter since she was an infant. I never had a logical reason for it—it wasn’t a shortened form of her name or anything with rhyme or reason—it just fit. And so, Lucie Co is born.
